The Igbo culture is filled with a lot of exciting mythology. While these tales are instructive and would captivate our imagination, they usually  also have a moral lesson associated with them. The subjects of these tales are varied and include animals, gods, fruits, trees, mermaids and almost anything or being that you can imagine.

I had a magical childhood and grew up listening to these beautiful stories. They have inspired “Ure Tales”. I truly want African culture to live on in our children and for generations to come.

My stories and the tales that will be featured here will try to showcase this rich mythology and culture, and include experiences from my childhood.
